Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8
If we confess our sins, He [Lord Jesus Christ] is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (Ref: 1 John 1:9) In other words He cleanse us from all sins, this is the promise from Lord for new covenant believers. Yes, not just forgiveness but He save us from sin through His grace, he empowers us to live a victorious life. He loves us and He keeps us from falling, all glory to God!
But, 1 Peter 4:8 talks about loving others and when someone commit sin against us or hurt us our deep love for others will cover it, meaning we won’t judge them but forgive them in the same way how our Lord has forgiven us. We pray for those who persecute us, bless those who curse us. True Love is deep and powerful!
Let us not pass judgement or comment about others, instead love each other deeply. Love transforms and builds us up in Christ Jesus! Our Lord Jesus defined the definition of love, no love is greater than the love that our Lord have for us. Let us learn from Him, today we love Him because He first loved us. Let us love others in the same way how our Lord is loving us! Let us not point finger at others, instead let us hold hands in love. Because, without love there is nothing! Let us abide in God’s love!
