What makes us strong

Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the LORD will do to all the enemies you are going to fight.” Joshua 10:25

Joshua listened to God and that made him strong and courageous. Today, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. When we believe in what our Lord Jesus is telling then we will be strong and courageous. He said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. If you believe then you will not be afraid of anything, you will not be discouraged and you will be strong and courageous. What else is needed when God is with us, who can be against us?

Knowing God and His Son Jesus Christ will make us strong and stronger. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. Hebrews 8:11 He reveals Himself to us through His Spirit, are we willing to seek and listen to Him everyday of our life? If so, then we will know the truth and the truth will set us free.

When our Lord Jesus lived on this earth He listened to the Father God everyday and He was not afraid of anyone and showed us the way to follow Him! Search engines cannot and will not give us the answers and solutions for the problems and challenges that we face in life, but only our Lord Jesus does! Let us listen to Him! Let us be strong and of good courage, do not let your heart be troubled. He is Immanuel, our God is with us!
