He Raised Us Up

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6,7

Its not the desire of God that we need to have an up and down Christian life like the balloon filled with normal air which goes little higher and comes down. Because, when we blow the balloon with the hot air which has less density it will raise above for little while, but its temporary and within seconds it will come down. These balloons will never raise high by itself, someone have to always lift it high. We don’t need any mediator but Christ Himself. Yes, God raised us up with Christ and only through Christ and because of His finished work on the cross we are raised up!

Our Lord Jesus crucified our old man, if you tie a stone to the ballon it will be struck. But, when you remove the stone the ballon will be free. Likewise, our Lord Jesus set us free from the bondage of sin and death. Today, we have our freedom in Christ! Also, God raised us up with Christ! God’s Word says, The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Romans 8:11 This is true in a believers life!

Many Christians think that its normal to have up and down Christian life, like sometime they are so encouraged and walk in Spirit and other times walk in flesh. Its abnormal, because we have been raised up with Christ and His divine power has given us everything that we need for life and godliness. Jesus is with us, He will never leave us nor forsake us. So, we will always raise up with Him. Be of good cheer! Amen!
