Love – Fruit of the Spirit

God called us to be rooted and grounded in God’s love, there is a specific variety bamboo tree that grows only few inches for 5 years and after that within few days it shoots up to 60+ feet. The first five years it grows the deep root system and that in turn shoots up to great heights in short time. As like how the deep root system is important for growth, we need to be rooted and grounded in Christ’s love to grow Spiritually.

If a tree don’t have root then it will fall, same way when we are not abiding in God’s love then we will fall Spiritually. There is nothing without His love. God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit Romans 5:5 This is similar to when we stand under the waterfall where the water overflows. God loved us that He gave His only Son Jesus Christ, He endured the cross and love always wins!

Today, we love Him because He first loved us. If you love Him then you will keep His commands, that is the mark of a true disciple of Jesus Christ as Jesus said in John 16:35 and John 14:15, our love for one another as brothers and sisters in Christ will prove the world that we are His disciples. In a family, church and everywhere when we have love for one another then that reflects Christ’s nature in us, He called us to be the partakers of His divine nature. We need Holy Spirit to get the revelation of God’s love and He empowers us to love others truly from the bottom of our heart. Today, God is not asking for anything but our heart. Yes, let us continue to keep ourselves in His everlasting love and be His witnesses. Always be filled with Holy Spirit and continue to walk in love! Amen! Love never fails!
