God Gives Strength

He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights. Psalm 18:33

Deer is known for its swiftness, strength and firmness of their feet, so that they can go upon rocks and mountains securely, and tread and walk, and even run upon them with safety. The male deer is a “hart” and the female deer is a “hind”. The feet of the hind stand firmer and more upright than the feet of the hart, both here in Psalm 18:33 and Habakkuk 3:19 is mentioned about hinds.

The point is God gives strength to all of us similar to the feet of the hind so that we can move forward even in the midst of trials, afflictions and difficulties, which may seem like hills and mountains, and cragged rocks, deter or discourage us, or move us from the hope of the Gospel, but we will walk on securely and firmly and He will make us to walk upon high places for His glory. So, do not fear! So many people are living in fear when they face rocks and mountains in life and did not even realize that God is their strength and they are discouraged and the rocks getting piled up and become so heavy in their lives and at last they got buried in it and couldn’t move forward and struck in worries.

Forget about the past and press on! God’s grace is sufficient for us yesterday, today and forever and God’s power is perfect in our weaknesses. The Lord God is our strength, He strengthens us everyday, He gives us anointing, grace, faith, hope, love, patience, and courage to oppose our spiritual enemies like sin, Satan, and the world and the things that this world brings against us. We are more than a conquerors in Christ Jesus!

Let our hearts be established in the faith of Christ, and in love to him, and in the hope of eternal life by him, and will be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord our God. Be of good cheer and do to let your heart be troubled for He will never ever leave us nor forsake us. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 Amen!
