Jesus is our Redeemer

To understand redemption, we need to look into an old covenant law, God’s Word says, If one of your fellow Israelites becomes poor and sells some of their property, their nearest relative is to come and redeem what they have sold. Leviticus 25:25. Once there was a man who lived in a beautiful home and then all of a sudden he lost everything including his home and became poor. The close relative to this man came to know about it and paid all the penalty and got everything back to him. This is Redemption!

God blessed Adam and Eve, but through their disobedience they sinned and became poor and handed over the dominion of the earth to satan and it continued throughout genrations. Also, sin separated them from God. Earth had to be redeemed and can be redeemed only by the close relative of Adam cannot be redeemed by angel or any other flesh but Adam’s. This is the reason why Jesus has to come in our flesh, generation of Adam to redeem what was lost. For the Son of Man [Jesus] came to seek and save those who are lost. Luke 19:10. We were all lost, but Jesus came to redeem us. The price for our redemption is his blood, he gave his life on the cross. Today, we are redeemed by our Lord Jesus Christ! Let us rejoice and thank God for what He has done in our life!

This is the reason why the Angel of the Lord said, You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
