There was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, Holy Spirit was on him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen Jesus. Moved by the Spirit, Simeon went into the temple courts. When Joseph and Mary brought in the child Jesus, Simeon took child Jesus in his arms and praised God! These were recorded in bible, please refer Luke 24 onwards.
Today, I was encouraged to meditate this passage, as Holy Spirit was on Simeon and Holy Spirit revealed him that he will see Jesus, finally Simeon was moved by Holy Spirit and saw Jesus and revelation got fulfilled. This kind of walk should be normal in your life and my life as we are called to live by the Spirit. “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit” Galatians 5:25
Two weeks back on Sunday morning, here in Atlanta as a family we went to a church near our home, during a call for prayer during church service many went forward and Holy Spirit pointed me a couple and told He is going to give them a blessed baby and led me to go and tell them, I prayed for them, especially for baby. I don’t know who they are nor their need so I waited till end of the church service and went to this couple boldly and told that God told me to pray for your new baby.
I was surprised to hear them say that she is 3 months pregnant and for the past 4 weeks she had morning sickness and had very tough times, but our Lord Jesus proved that He loves them and cares for them and the baby, I am very much encouraged that I was moved by the Holy Spirit to do what He says which ministered this couple to experience God’s love. Everyone got encouraged and there is always great joy when we walk in the Spirit! Take every step according to His leading and be moved by the Spirit! Amen!
